Phew! I think the site’s just about ready for public consumption. It’s not 100% finished, but it’s close enough so that it at least looks pretty. If anyone’s visiting this site for the first time - welcome! I hope to use this space to keep my family/friends informed on the basics of what’s going on in my life.

And on that note, life has been pretty good this week. Seth and I (and mom and dad) got new cellphones this past weekend. Seth has been, well, how can I put this… obsessed with his phone. It’s honestly so nice and refreshing to see him so jazzed about something. His previous phone had been broken for about the past four months, so I can’t blame him at all for being thrilled to get a new one. And then there’s the ‘gadget guy’ part of him that comes out on top of that and before you know it I think he wants to marry his phone. I’m totally impressed with his committment to learning and testing every facet of our phones. He’s already mastered the voice activated calling, picture emailing and transferring via bluetooth, and now he’s even toying with a moblog. I swear, he (we) should be living in San Francisco — there’s enough technology there to keep Seth busy for years to come. Anyway, it honestly thrills me to see him so excited about something new. Just don’t tell him, it’ll ruin my chances for teasing him about it relentlessly. And that’s the best part, right?
