Cutie Pie
Okay, so I said I would try to post more… and that’s probably going to mean for me that I post a lot more pics. Now if you saw my repository of photos you’d be able to predict that the majority of the photos I’m going to be showing are of Raelyn since she’s about 85% of what we take pictures of.
The following are from the MLK holiday weekend a few weeks back. We were still getting settled in from Xmas and getting all our presents put away. One of Raelyn’s favorite gifts that Santa brought her was this table and chair set, which she now eats at, has tea parties at, does crafts at (coloring and playing with stickers) and best of all - brings her stuffed animals friends to and puts them into the chairs to join her. Here’s a shot of her having breakfast with her best pals.

It was such a beautiful sunny day out that we decided to head outside in the backyard to play. Of course mommy can’t just sit outside when there’s yardwork to be done, so I grabbed a rake and made a vain attempt to dig our yard out from underneath the massive piles of leaves that had fallen during December. I turned my back for one second, and here’s what happened:

Raelyn grabbed mommy’s “hand puppets” (as she likes to call them) and struck a pose for daddy.
Side Note: Raelyn learned the term “hand puppet” at school since they do a lot of creative play there and when it turned winter and I started wearing my gloves she instantly recognized them and starting calling them “hand puppets” at home. At first we tried to correct her, but then it was just too cute so we decided to let it go. Some things are better left unsaid, or mis-said as the case may be.
